PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. ā A South Florida woman has filed a lawsuit against Comcast after she said a cable man came to her home for a service call and exposed himself in front of her.
"He never actually touched me," said Lisa Zemba. "And then he just started pleasuring himself in my bedroom, and I couldn't believe my eyes. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I just couldn't."
Attorney Sam Yeboah has filed a lawsuit against Comcast and the unnamed technician, who is now known only as John Doe. He also filed a lawsuit against the subcontractor, Integrated Tech Group, which actually employed the cable man.
Yeboah said he's been informed the employee has been terminated, but that the companyĀ told him the technician maintained that the act was consensual.
"That's natural for him to say that, but that's not the case," said Yeboah. "That's not what happened."
Zemba said the whole thing happened very quickly.
"There was a towel on the bed," said Zemba. "He picked it up, cleaned himself off and left."
Zemba said she called Comcast immediately to report the alleged incident, but she was put on hold indefinitely. The next day sheĀ filed a complaint with the police, Ā which has filed no charges in the case.
But Zemba and her attorney said they have DNA evidence. She kept the towel.
"The evidence is what caused them to fess up to the fact that this did occur," said Yeboah.
"I kept the towel," added Zemba. "I learned a thing or two from Monica Lewinsky."
