FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – A lockdown at a Fort Lauderdale high school has been lifted, after police spent more than an hour checking reports of a trespasser on campus.
Dillard High School on Northwest 11th Street was put on lockdown shortly before 8 a.m. Tuesday, Fort Lauderdale police said on Twitter.

Shortly after 9:30 a.m., the all-clear was given.
Officers and police K-9s were both at the scene. It was unclear if anyone was caught.
