MIAMI – A plastic surgeon accused of torturing his girlfriend for hours received 12 months probation.
Miami police arrested Dr. Orlando Llorente in May and charged him with eight counts that included attempted murder, kidnapping, battery and robbery. Just last month those charges were dropped and only two misdemeanor charges remained after the state attorney's office said there was a lack of evidence.

Llorente's girlfriend claimed he forced her head into the toilet and then dragged her into the bathtub and poured water on her face until she lost consciousness.
