MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – One person was killed and a teenager was wounded in a double shooting Wednesday night in northwest Miami-Dade County, police said.
The shooting occurred at about 9:15 p.m. near Northwest 86th Street and Northwest 19th Avenue.

Both victims were taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center.
Miami-Dade police Detective Marjorie Eloi said the unidentified victim was struck in the shoulder and arm. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The victim who survived, identified as Quayvis Howard,17, was grazed in the head by a bullet, Eloi said.
Police are investigating the shooting.
