Three South Florida restaurants were recently ordered shut after inspectors found serious violations, including roach and fly infestations.
Paul’s Fresh Bakery, located at the Sawgrass Mills Mall in Sunrise, was closed twice due to a persistent flying insect problem, expired food and improper food storage.
Alegria by El Rancherito in Doral Doral had live and dead roaches in multiple areas, along with food storage and cleanliness issues.
And Marin Kitchen Cafe in Westchester was shut down after inspectors discovered roaches, moldy food and unsanitary kitchen conditions.
All the places mentioned were allowed to re-open following a mandated cleanup and then a re-inspection.
