Rodent and roach issues found inside restaurant that has been warned several times in the past

Last week was a short week for inspectors with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, however, there were still issues found in some establishments.

According to state records, the Hunan Wok location east of Federal Highway in Hollywood was ordered shut for rodent and roach issues.

Since January 2017, the establishment has been inspected 29 times, with 10 inspections requiring follow-up visits due to violations.

Hunan Wok was allowed to re-open following an ordered cleanup and then a re-inspection.

“Nonfood-contact surface soiled with grease, food debris, dirt, slime or dust. 1.Hood filters soiled in cook line. 2.Shelves under tables throughout kitchen soiled with grease / food debris. 3. Side of table soiled with old food debris next to rice warmer in kitchen. Repeat Violation.”
