The restaurant released the following statement Monday to Local 10 News:

“What happened to us last week was very unfortunate and we take full responsibility for our business being shut down for the day. We want to make you aware of all the steps we have taken to ensure this does not happen again at any of our locations.

“We have met with our staff and went over the report one issue at a time. We are increasing our fumigation from once a week to twice a week. We are also in the process of hiring a food handler safety course instructor to come to each of our locations and refresh our team members of all the safety measures they must take. A thorough cleaning of our location was performed and we were allowed to open the next day.

“We have been in business for over 30 years, we need to be better and we will do better. We look forward to seeing you when we get a Clean Plate report.”
