Mexico’s Rosa Negra expands to South Florida with 1st US restaurant

MIAMI – A popular restaurant brand from Mexico has made its U.S. debut in Miami, bringing its signature fusion of Mexican and Latin American flavors to the heart of Brickell.

Rosa Negra, which first opened in Mexico City eight years ago, now boasts 34 locations across the country. Its Miami outpost marks its 35th restaurant and its first venture into the U.S. market.

“Miami is just an organic and natural feeling for us,” said JP Garduño, regional director for Grupo Rosa Negra.

The 13,600-square-foot space, featuring nearly 300 seats, blends modern design with traditional Latin American influences.

Dim lighting, rich wood textures, and live performances aim to transport guests beyond Miami and into an immersive dining experience.

“The moment everybody is walking in, they’re getting immersed into an amazing ambience that we’re trying to recreate from the music and the ambience that we play in Mexico, in Tulum,” Garduño said.

The menu showcases classic Mexican flavors with creative twists, including dishes like Burrata & Mole—a combination of creamy and smoky flavors served over a bed of plantains.

“It has over 100 ingredients to create it and chocolate,” a chef explained while presenting the dish.

Beyond the food, Rosa Negra prides itself on delivering an unforgettable cultural experience.

“Our vision has always been to create unforgettable experiences by a blend of amazing delicious food with incredible service and energy,” Garduño said.
