South Florida businesses embrace the Taylor Swift craze for Eras Tour weekend

MIAMI – As Taylor Swift’s highly anticipated Eras Tour takes over Hard Rock Stadium this weekend for three consecutive nights, South Florida businesses are embracing Swiftie fever with special fan-focused experiences.

From themed ice cream flavors to sing-along trains, the South Florida community is finding creative ways to celebrate the pop superstar’s arrival.

Swift-Themed Events in Miami-Dade:

Sweet Melody Ice Cream: Taylor-Themed Flavors

Sweet Melody, a small-batch ice cream shop in Miami, has crafted three Taylor Swift-inspired flavors to mark the occasion: “Champagne Problems,” “Bake It Off,” and “This Is Me Chai-ing.” The latter, a brown sugar ice cream featuring Taylor’s famous chai cookie recipe, is a fan favorite.

“We are definitely the swiftest ice cream shop in Miami,” said Sweet Melody’s founder Mike Romeu. “Anytime there’s something Taylor-related, we are on board. To the point where people call us now if there’s a Taylor event in town.”

Paradox Miami: Bracelet-Making and Photo Ops

At Paradox Miami, known for its immersive experiences that challenge reality, Swifties can craft their own friendship bracelets — a popular fan tradition at Taylor’s concerts. The activity is included with admission, allowing fans to make bracelets and capture fun, Swift-themed moments.

“Fellow Swifties can come, make their bracelets, and get some super cute pictures while they’re here,” said Samantha Impellizeri, Paradox Miami’s general manager.

Frost Science Museum: Taylor Swift Laser Show

At the Frost Science Museum, fans can enjoy a Taylor Swift-themed laser light show, synchronized to some of her biggest hits. The event will take place under the museum’s 67-foot dome, offering an evening of dazzling visuals set to tracks like “Shake It Off” and “Bejeweled.”

Brightline’s Swift Train Experience

For concertgoers traveling from Orlando or South Florida, Brightline has launched a sing-along train service to enhance the experience. Fans can belt out their favorite Swift tracks, shop exclusive merchandise, and enjoy Taylor-inspired cocktails like the “Lavender Haze” as they ride to Aventura.

“This experience was so popular, we’ve added additional trains from West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale,” said Barbara Drahl, Brightline’s Senior VP of Marketing.

The excitement extends beyond these venues, with Miami’s businesses embracing Swift’s visit in unique ways. From pop-up markets to rooftop celebrations, fans have no shortage of opportunities to get into the Swiftie spirit.

Other Miami hotspots are joining in on the Swift celebration:

  • Shops at Merrick Park: Hosting a Swifties for Good Makers Market, featuring local artisans and benefiting the Branches nonprofit organization.
  • Rosa Sky Rooftop: A dreamy “Swifty in the Sky” experience with Taylor Swift-themed cocktails and panoramic views.
  • The Elser Hotel: Offering an exclusive Eras Tour package complete with a welcome basket, in-room concert viewing, and luxe transportation to the stadium.
  • The Gates Hotel South Beach: A relaxing pre-concert retreat featuring friendship bracelet kits, glam sessions, and a movie screening of The Eras Tour

Taylor Swift’s South Florida weekend is shaping up to be an unforgettable celebration for fans and local businesses alike.
