Wynwood skates into the disco era with new roller rink

Retro roller experience offers family fun through Nov. 1

WYNWOOD, Fla. – If you’re in the mood for some nostalgic fun, Wynwood Skate might be the perfect spot for a family-friendly retro outing.

The skating rink, located inside the Wynwood Marketplace at 2250 NW 2nd Ave., brings a throwback to the disco era and is open for a limited time.

Wynwood Skate has transformed part of the 75,000-square-foot venue into a vibrant roller rink, complete with a colorful checkerboard floor, street art and disco balls like you’re back in the 1970s.

“We wanted to tap into that nostalgic hot wheels and disco culture, bringing great music and fun back to Wynwood,” said an event organizer.

At night, the rink lights up with a DJ spinning old-school hits, creating the perfect atmosphere for roller disco fans to show off their moves.

Skating costs $25, including skate rentals, and the rink will be open through Nov. 1.

Alongside the rink, visitors can enjoy a pickleball court, local food vendors and a variety of shopping options, making it a great spot for families or date nights.

For those looking to relive the past and make new memories, Wynwood Skate offers a chance to roll into a groovy time.
