MIAMI – The Museum of Ice Cream has returned to Miami, but this time, it’s here to stay.
Nestled in the heart of Miami Worldcenter, the 14,000-square-foot immersive experience is bigger and more elaborate than its pop-up version from 2018.
Now, the museum offers an expanded array of interactive rooms, unlimited ice cream, and new, never-before-seen installations that encourage visitors to unleash their inner child.
“This is a theme park for adults and kids, but we’re activating your inner child,” said Manish Vora, co-founder of the Museum of Ice Cream.
As you walk through the pastel-colored space, it becomes clear that this is more than just a museum — it’s an invitation to play, explore, and indulge in nostalgia.
The journey begins with a “sweet flight,” where guests are welcomed aboard the first-class “Creamliner Express” to “Orange Dream Island.”
Complete with in-flight snacks like creamsicles and playful safety announcements, the museum sets the stage for an unforgettable adventure.
“We’re going to take you on a full journey, transforming you from this world to another,” Vora said.
Each room offers a different interactive experience, from exploring secret passageways to bouncing through a room full of giant bananas. The highlight for many, however, is the carnival section — an area packed with games and photo opportunities that feel straight out of a childhood fantasy.
Whether it’s knocking down pins or winning animal cookies as prizes, the sense of fun is infectious.
“I see why you feed people; you definitely work out here!” joked Local 10′s Alexis Frazier, who toured the museum before its official reopening.
As you explore further, the museum reveals more surprises, including the “trippy” Hall of Freezers, where visitors wander through surreal cold rooms and a slide that takes you from the second floor to the bottom in a flash.
But the museum is widely known for its world-famous sprinkle pool — a massive basin filled with thousands of plastic sprinkles, where visitors can take a celebratory dip at the end of their journey.
“We’ve had every celebrity imaginable jump in this pool,” Vora said. “So if you’re butter pecan today, you’re joining the long line of Ariana Grande, Kim Kardashian and Beyoncé — you name it, they’ve done it.”
Despite its fun-filled atmosphere, the museum also offers a few more relaxing spots, like its café, where visitors can purchase themed cocktails like the “Pinktini” and other sweet treats. Though tickets include unlimited ice cream throughout your visit, the café's menu offers more gourmet options for those looking to indulge even further.
The museum also introduces new installations that weren’t part of its 2018 pop-up, including secret rooms and hidden passageways, offering visitors more ways to explore and engage with the space.
“You’re going to play, interact and maybe even stumble upon a beach,” Vora teased.
Visitors to the Museum of Ice Cream are guaranteed unlimited ice cream, with flavors and treats offered at different stations throughout the museum.
“It’s a place where you not only eat unlimited treats,” said Vora. “You’re going to play, you’re going to slide, find secret passageways, It’s Miami’s craziest carnival and you’re going to take the fastest slide and even an airplane on this journey.”
Whether it’s a scoop of vanilla or a popsicle on the go, the museum ensures that the experience is as sweet as possible. However, some specialty items like cocktails or certain treats from the café come with an extra charge.
For those looking to indulge in fun and fantasy, the Museum of Ice Cream awaits with open arms and, of course, sprinkles.
