The United States of America is turning 248 this year, and there are plenty of celebrations happening across South Florida to celebrate the Fourth!

- To kick off Parks and Recreation Month, Miami-Dade Parks is hosting the 4th of July Kickoff Celebration. The event will take place at Tropical Park with food, activities and more.
- Miami: Bayfront Park’s 4th of July Celebration returns this year with fun-for-all-ages entertainment.
- Homestead presents their annual “Race to the 4th” event filled with live music, entertainment, delicious food, thrilling rides for children, and a grand fireworks finale.
- Town of Miami Lakes is hosting a 4th of July Celebration with live entertainment, food, drinks and a Sensory Inclusive Zone. The Sensory Inclusive Zone aims to eliminate barriers that prevent individuals with special needs from participating in community events.
- Miami Beach Celebration Fire on the Fourth in North Beach features a dedicated family zone, food trucks, live entertainment, a rock climbing wall and Independence Day Fireworks & Patriotic Concert in South Beach.
- Coral Gables: Free fireworks celebration at the Biltmore Hotel.
- Parks and outdoor locations, like Zoo Miami or Fruit & Spice Park are open. The Deering Estate is offering $5 general admission or, as part of Blue Star Museums, active duty military personnel and up to five family members receive free admission all summer.

BROWARD COUNTY
- Fort Lauderdale: The 4th of July Spectacular is a free event being held from noon to 9:15 p.m. The event will be spread across three spaces on the beach, from the beach south of Las Olas Boulevard, Las Olas Oceanside Park (The LOOP) and Fort Lauderdale beach.
- Coral Springs: The city’s Fourth of July Celebration is a free event being held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Mullins Park.
- Deerfield Beach: The city’s 4th of July Celebration is a free event, happening from 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
- Lauderdale-By-The-Sea: The city’s Fourth of July Parade and Family Fun Day is a free event being held from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. at El Prado Park.
- Miramar: The city’s July 4th Celebration is a free event being held from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Miramar Regional Park.
- Pompano Beach: The annual July 4th Fireworks Spectacular is a free event happening from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Fisher Family Pier.
- Plantation: The Independence Day Celebration: The Olympic Spirit is a free event happening from 9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. It begins with the parade at 9 a.m., which starts at Broward Boulevard and Northwest 46th Avenue and ends at City Hall.
- Sunrise: July 4th Celebrations is a free event happening from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. It starts with the “Under the Sea” parade that ends at City Park, where there will be activities for the whole family. The Amerant Bank Arena will then host a live concert at 6 p.m. with ‘80s group The Cover Girls and Lisa Lisa, followed by fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
- Weston: The Hometown Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration is a free event happening from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The Hometown Fourth of July Celebration Parade will precede that event, and is also free. The parade will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., starting at the corner of Town Center Boulevard and Three Village Road and finishing at the heart of Main Street.
