PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – Los votantes de Florida tomarán decisiones el 5 de noviembre sobre dos enmiendas iniciadas por ciudadanos sobre marihuana y aborto, y cuatro enmiendas propuestas por la legislatura.

Enmienda 2: Derecho a pescar y cazar Los votantes decidirán si apoyan u oponen establecer un derecho constitucional para cazar y pescar en Florida. Defensores de animales temen que esto dificulte la protección de la vida silvestre. Esta es una enmienda propuesta por la legislatura.

Enmienda 3: Uso personal de marihuana para adultos Los votantes decidirán si apoyan u oponen legalizar la marihuana para adultos mayores de 21 años y permitir que las personas posean hasta tres onzas de marihuana. Esta es una enmienda iniciada por ciudadanos.

Enmienda 4: Iniciativa del derecho al aborto Los votantes decidirán si apoyan u oponen agregar que “ninguna ley prohibirá, penalizará, retrasará o restringirá el aborto antes de la viabilidad o cuando sea necesario para proteger la salud del paciente, según lo determine el proveedor de atención médica” y mantener la disposición constitucional actual que permite una ley que requiere notificar a los padres antes de que una menor pueda recibir un aborto. Esta es una enmienda iniciada por ciudadanos.

Enmienda 5: Ajustes anuales al valor de ciertas exenciones para viviendas principales Los votantes decidirán si apoyan u oponen un ajuste anual por inflación al monto del valor tasado que está exento de impuestos a la propiedad. Esta es una enmienda propuesta por la legislatura.

Enmienda 6: Derogación del requisito de financiamiento público de campañas Los votantes decidirán si apoyan u oponen derogar la disposición constitucional estatal que establece el financiamiento público de campañas para quienes se postulan a cargos estatales electivos y aceptan límites de gastos de campaña. Esta es una enmienda propuesta por la legislatura.

FL Constitutional Amendment 2: Right to Fish & Hunt

FL Constitutional Amendment 5: Adjust Value of Certain Homestead Exemptions

Annual Adjustments to the Value of Certain Homestead Exemptions Proposing an amendment to the State Constitution to require an annual adjustment for inflation to the value of current or future homestead exemptions that apply solely to levies other than school district levies and for which every person who has legal or equitable title to real estate and maintains thereon the permanent residence of the owner, or another person legally or naturally dependent upon the owner is eligible.
