According to the outlet, Venegas, 23, was arrested Sunday in Naples on charges of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and possession of an altered firearm.

The Island Boys, which also consists of Venegas’ twin brother, Alex, rose to fame in 2021 with their viral hit “I’m an Island Boy.”

Venegas, also known by his stage name Kodiyakredd, was previously arrested in Fort Lauderdale back in May 2024. In that incident, the Lake Worth resident was accused of pretending to be his brother when he was pulled over for reckless driving.

Records show he was also previously arrested by the Broward Sheriff’s Office in May 2023 in Pompano Beach on accusations that he battered his live-in girlfriend.

Court records show prosecutors eventually dropped the misdemeanor battery case on May 16, 2023.

Local 10 News has requested a copy of his arrest report from the Collier County Sheriff’s Office related to the latest incident.
