MIAMI – Bad Bunny took some time out of his busy schedule to share his wisdom and experience with nearly 400 South Florida students on Friday night.
The Grammy award-winning musician made a surprise appearance at the Florida International University’s Chaplin School of Hospitality and Tourism, as part of The David Grutman Experience — a class led by famed restaurateur, David Grutman.
During the hour-long conversation, students learned about Grutman and the esteemed Groot Hospitality, featuring his evolution in the hospitality industry and more.
The Puerto Rican rapper had a student translate for him as he shared advice to the future class of entrepreneurs about the importance of relationships in the business, sharing the story of how Grutman introduced the “Monaco” rapper to Drake, leading them to create the hit single, “MIA,” and how he remains authentic even with fame and fortune.
The singer was met with delight and excitement from the FIU students, who also discussed their experiences in entertainment and their paths to success.
The artist’s unexpected sit-down was a big hit with those in the class as students took pictures and videos with him.
