MIAMI – Thousands are expected to attend the Overtown Music & Arts Festival in downtown Miami on Saturday in search of authentic soul food and fun beats.
There will be performances by CeeLo Green, Keyshia Cole and Tito Puente Jr. The festival will also have a barbecue cook-off, an art expo zone, and fun areas for teenagers and children.
The Headliner Market Group worked with Miami City Commission Chairman Keon Hardemon and The Green Family Foundation to produce the free family-friendly event. The Pérez Art Museum Miami will be giving away guest passes.
The festival is from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Overtown Business and Entertainment District on Northwest Second and Third Avenues between Eight and Tenth Streets. For more information, click here to visit the event's website or call 786-529-4586.
