PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – Local 10's very own Victor Oquendo will soon be leaving for ABC News.
Oquendo, who started at Local 10 in 2010 as a newsroom trainee, will join the network as a Miami-based correspondent in July.

The job will suit the Miami-native well as Victor has covered some of South Florida's biggest stories while reporting and anchoring at Local 10.
From covering the restored diplomatic relations between the U.S. and Cuba, to tracking Hurricane Matthew along the East Coast, Victor has proven his considerable talents over and over again.
Although the move was announced Wednesday, you still have plenty of time to catch Victor on Local 10 as he'll continue to anchor the 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. newscasts through much of June.
