Like Batman without Robin.

Playboy magazine just could not live without nudity.

So after a year of  "clean" and safe-for-work editions, bare boobs and behinds will once again grace the pages of Playboy.

The New York Post reports the old school nude policy will return with the magazine's March/April magazine.

However, there is one caveat: No full-frontal nudity.

The decision to return to nudity was made by Cooper Hefner, the 25-year-old son of magazine founder, Hugh Hefner.

The younger Hefner was named Playboy's chief creative officer in October and said no nudity in the magazine was an error.

“I’ll be the first to admit the way in which the magazine portrayed nudity was dated, but removing it entirely was a mistake,” Cooper Hefner tweeted. “Nudity was never the problem, because nudity isn’t a problem. Today, we’re taking our identity back and rediscovering who we are.”

The Post claims Playboy sales at newsstands rose with the no nudity policy, but subscriptions fell.
