POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – Blanche Ely High School was placed on lockdown Thursday after two people were injured in a fight on campus, authorities said.
Broward Sheriff's Office deputies said students were removed from their classrooms as a precaution.

Sky 10 arrived as the students were leaving the football field and appeared to be allowed back inside the school.
Pompano Beach spokeswoman Sandra King said one patient was taken to Broward Health North with injuries that were not life-threatening. She said another patient was treated at the school but refused further treatment.
A school district official said there were no weapons involved.
