Forest Glen Middle School teacher accused of raping 15-year-old boy

Judge orders Pamela Stigger to stay away from children

TAMARAC, Fla. – A Broward County judge ordered a middle school teacher to stay away from children Friday after she was accused of raping a 15-year-old boy.

According to an arrest report, the victim was a student in Pamela Stigger's eighth-grade drama class during the 2015-16 school year.

Broward Sheriff's Office deputies said Stigger, 33, was caught in the act with the student about 2 a.m. Thursday while they were parked in her car in the 5800 block of Northwest 70th Avenue in Tamarac.

Deputies said they responded to the area after receiving a call about a suspicious vehicle that was obstructing traffic on the road with no one in the front seats.

Deputies said they saw Stigger and the boy in the back seat of the vehicle and the boy was nude from the waist down.

Authorities said the teen told them that Stigger was on the way to drop him off at his home when she stopped her car and they began kissing.

He said she told him to go to the back seat because there was more room and they had sex, authorities said.

According to the arrest report, Stigger was performing oral sex on the teen when he told her that deputies were walking toward the car.

Detectives said Stigger claimed that the teen was trying to seduce her and that she was "only trying to mentor him."

The teen was taken to the Nancy J. Cotterman Center, where a rape examination was performed.

Deputies said Stigger currently has a "custodial relationship" over the teen.

She was arrested on charges of sexual assault on a minor by a custodian and sexual offense against a minor.
