MIAMI – Brown Mackie College, which has campuses in Miramar and downtown Miami, will be closing enrollment at 22 campuses, according to a college spokesperson.
Bob Greenlee, of Brown Mackie College, said the campuses in Miami and Miramar will not be accepting new students, but will remain open to serve current students, "as long as they continue their program of study."

Enrollment at four of the for-profit campuses will remain open, according to an Education Management Corporation representative who talked to Consumerism.
EDMC is the operator of Brown Mackie, Argosy University, South University and the Art Institutes. EDMC settled a long-running lawsuit related to accusations that they were defrauding the federal government.
