Campfires to Cocktails: Annual fundraiser benefits Girl Scouts of Tropical Florida

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The Girls Scouts of Tropical Florida is hosting its fourth annual Campfires to Cocktails event. The evening of glamping will be held at Camp Mahachee in Coral Gables on Nov. 9.

“We are so excited to host what is now a highly anticipated annual event for South Florida’s gala season,” said Chelsea Wilkerson, CEO of Girl Scouts of Tropical Florida. “Our team has added some new Girl Scout-themed fun building off the success of last year.”

The annual event showcases the skills, joys and creative that define the Girl Scout program. This year’s festivities will include axe throwing, fencing, star gazing, an all-new camp skills competitive relay and a VIP lounge. Attendees will also enjoy iconic s’mores and Girl Scout cookies by the campfire.

Girl Scouts of Tropical Florida was founded in 1923 and currently serves nearly 3,000 girls in grades K-12 from across Miami-Dade and Monroe counties.

Campfires to Cocktails is a fundraising event in support of the Girl Scouts of Tropical Florida. Individual tickets are $250 and tables of six are $2,000.
