For 26 years the Walk for the Animals has served as the Humane Society of Broward County's largest annual fundraiser. The leisurely 1-mile walk winds through downtown Fort Lauderdale and along the New River. With a live band, strolling performers, a dog agility performance, free treats for your furry friends and much more, the Walk for the Animals is entertaining for all.

The DRI Walk for Diabetes & Family Fun Day

The DRI Walk for Diabetes & Family Fun Day is presented by Walgreens. Join thousands as they walk for this worthy community effort. Kids can come dressed as their favorite superhero and help battle diabetes. There will be live entertainment, health booths, face painting and more.

Live Like Bella Superhero 5K Run/Walk

Time: 7 a.m. check-in; 8 a.m. walk begins
The second Live Like Bella Foundation Superhero Run/Walk will bring athletes of every caliber together to battle against childhood cancer. Participants are encouraged to wear superhero capes and run or walk the three-mile course. The walk will feature various forms of entertainment and prizes for the fastest male and female runners.

Epilepsy Foundation of Florida Walk the Talk Fundraiser

This walk will be the first of nine hosted by the Epilepsy Foundation of Florida. Its goal is to encourage participants to raise awareness and fundraise is support of the more than 400,000 Floridians living with the disease.

Brain Fair

The Miami Brain Fair is a free educational event to teach kids how the brain works. Kids can touch and dissect a real brain, build a neuron from clay, play with visual illusions and find out if they are a super taster. High school students can compete in the Brain Bee and Brain Jeopardy and find out who knows the most brain facts. Additional fun activities include face painting and puppet shows.

Liberty City Health Fair

In partnership with the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, the Liberty City Health Fair will offer attendees access to free health screenings, including blood glucose and diabetes, skin cancer, vision and much more. Health evaluations for children will also be offered.

Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church invites music lovers of all ages and preferences to its 2015-16 concert series featuring musicians in a variety of genres, from classical to jazz and everything in between. On Sunday, March 13, Chelsea Chen will delight attendees inside the church's sanctuary.

The Miami-Dade County Fair & Exposition will celebrate its 65th anniversary in 2016. The youth fair is ranked the largest fair in Florida. The 21-day event includes more than 90 adrenalin-packed rides, two giant blockbuster shows, a European-style circus, fabulous food and much more.
