MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – A suspect was caught on camera pilfering a tip jar at a Miami Beach business.
Previously when Bagel Time was in the news, it was for somebody taking down an Israeli flag hanging outside and stomping on it. That happened three times in a matter of months, its owner said.
This time, it’s the Bagel Time bandit, and all this thief seemingly wanted on his bagel was someone else’s hard-earned cash.
“Smooth as butter,” said Bagel Time owner Josh Nodel, adding that the crook got away with $200. “He comes inside, comes to the counter, goes to my wife...I guess she was giving him a free bagel.”
To add insult to injury, the crook went into the tip jar where they keep large bills.
