Miami Beach bagel shop hit by a flag vandal — again

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – A Miami Beach bagel shop has been targeted by a vandal for the third time in a matter of months.

Bagel Time Cafe, located at 3915 Alton Road, has had Israeli and American flags vandalized by different suspects since war broke out in the Middle East.

Police arrested a suspect in one of the incidents.

The latest incident happened Friday night. This time, owner Josh Nodel says a vandal targeted his business’s American flag.

Like the other suspects, this fedora-wearing flag bandit was caught on camera.

But despite the latest crime, Nodel says he’s determined to keep showing his American — and Jewish — pride.

“Oh no. I’m just gonna, you know how they’re said the in the Bible this coming week, they say that the Pharaoh used to torture the Jewish people,” Nodel said. “The more he tortured them, the more they got stronger and stronger. This is — I’m just gonna put a few more.”

Anyone with information is asked to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.
