Philadelphia police make arrest in Miami Beach bagel shop vandalism case

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – Philadelphia police have made an arrest in connection with a hateful act of vandalism on a South Florida bagel shop.

Surveillance video shows what appears to be a woman in a headscarf running towards the Bagel Time Cafe on 41st Street and Alton Road in Miami Beach.

“They’re fueled by blind hatred,” said Bagel Time owner Josh Nodel.

In the video, the woman rips out an Israeli flag and a U.S. flag from the establishment. She’s then seen throwing them in the middle of the street and stomping on them multiple times before taking the flags with her.

The footage was captured in November and it’s one of three different incidents where three different people essentially did the same thing to the same bagel shop.

The woman in the video is the second person of the three to be arrested for vandalism.

“Justice is being served,” Nodel said. “This is America, we don’t support terror.”

Police have yet to provide her identity or mugshot.
