Below is a list of places that were ordered shut last week in South Florida.

Restaurants are inspected by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.

No places were ordered shut in the Florida Keys last week.

All the places ordered shut were allowed to re-open following an ordered cleanup and re-inspection.

ā€œRoach activity present as evidenced by live roaches found. 1 live roach under dry storage rack in kitchen. 3 live roaches under office chair in front of prep table. 1 live roach crawling on wall behind Frigidaire Freezer, in kitchen.ā€

ā€œObserved: Dead roaches on premises. 1 Dead roach on prep table next to Baine Marie.ā€

ā€œStored food not covered. Cooked Egg rolls, Cooked chicken wings, Cooked sweet and sour chicken, Walk In Cooler.ā€

ā€œBowl or other container with no handle used to dispense food. Plastic container located in rice bin used to scoop rice.ā€

ā€œHand wash sink used for purposes other than hand washing. Hand wash sink at rear exit used to store carton boxes.ā€
