Hurricane Dorian decreased to a Category 2 storm with 110 mph maximum sustained winds, according to the National Hurricane Center's 11 a.m. advisory. Hurricane Dorian is about 105 miles east of Fort Pierce and is moving to the northwest at about 2 mph. The slow speed of the storm meant that Florida residents have been hunkered down in anticipation of the storm for almost a week now.
