MIAMI – The Miami Marlins held their annual Thanksgiving giveaway on Friday at loanDepot park.
According to the team, Marlins President of Baseball Operations Peter Bendix, Marlins Manager Clayton McCullough, and several current and former Marlins players were on hand to join volunteers in distributing Thanksgiving meals to local families in need.
The event began at 4 p.m., with the giveaway starting around 4:30 p.m.
The packages included traditional Thanksgiving meal essentials, according to the Marlins.
