Trump stood on stage in front of a group of billionaires during Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund’s FII PRIORITY Miami 2025 conference, which runs through Friday at Faena.
The three-day conference has the support of Guggenheim Investments and Valor Equity Partners. The list of speakers and guests also included Shou Zi Chew, Safra Catz, Serena Williams, Jorge Mas, Stephen Ross, and Miami Mayor Francis Suarez.
“Miami seems to be the center of the action,” Trump said during his address about the cryptocurrency market.
Trump said he is committed to progress on artificial intelligence and on making the U.S. “more prosperous than ever before.” Trump said Elon Musk, who was also at the event, was committed to helping end government waste and “eliminating” regulations.
“We are trying to make our government smaller but much stronger,” Trump said. “I’ll be working with the Republican Congress to pass the largest tax cuts in American history — we have to extend the Trump tax cuts.”

He also also encouraged attendees to invest and produce in the United States, pledging additional tax cuts for domestic manufacturers.
“We’ll substantially cut taxes for all domestic producers and oil and gas and just about everything else,” Trump said.
Trump also said he was negotiating the end of the Russian war in Ukraine and the Israel-Hamas war.
“It’s a big step. We have to get that war over with,” he said.
A coalition of human rights groups released a statement in opposition to the summit describing the $925 billion PIF and FII as entities that are “intertwined” with the Saudi government’s “horrendous” human rights record.
Trump, who has frequently claimed the 2020 election was stolen from him, openly shared that he had considered staying in office longer.
“I wanted to see if I could get a couple more years … but I think the fight wasn’t really worth it,” he said.
Trump suggested a new policy in which a portion of government savings would be returned to citizens.
“Under consideration — a new concept where we give 20% of the DOGE savings to American citizens and 20% goes to paying down debt,” he said.
Elon Musk, the billionaire CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, was among the prominent figures in attendance.
According to organizers, the theme of the summit is “invest with purpose.”
