It happened just before 4:45 Wednesday morning at the Mondrian South Beach Miami hotel at 1100 West Ave., according to Miami Beach police.

Police said the victim told investigators that she had met a group of men earlier that night at the Mr. Jones nightclub at 320 Lincoln Road and “(did) not remember much about the events that followed.”

An arrest report states that she woke up to being raped by an “unknown” man.

Authorities said surveillance video showed the victim arriving at the hotel with Emmanuel Patrick Toussaint, 35, of Brooklyn, New York, and an “additional suspect” just before 4:40 a.m.

It then showed the other suspect leaving the hotel room less than 15 minutes later; he then came back and left again, police said.

Just before 5:45 a.m., the video showed the victim “(running) out of the hotel room frantically,” the report states.

Toussaint left the room three minutes later and security officers detained him, police said.

The report doesn’t make clear whether police have identified or arrested the other suspect.

Police said during an interview at Miami Beach police headquarters, Toussaint made two admissions, which were redacted from the arrest report.

Toussaint, facing charges of sexual battery of a physically helpless victim and gang sexual battery, was being held without bond in the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center as of early Thursday afternoon.
