Mike Kevin Jacques was on probation in Broward County when Miami police officers arrested him in Miami-Dade County.

Police officers arrested Jacques, 26, at his apartment on Tuesday in Miami and correctional deputies booked him shortly after 6 a.m., Wednesday at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.

Jacques is facing new charges and an out-of-county warrant. Records show he has a long arrest record in Broward and Miami-Dade counties.

In 2017, Miramar police officers arrested him for carrying a concealed weapon. The case was disposed.

In 2018, Miramar police officers arrested him for robbery. There was post-conviction relief.

In 2020, Miramar police officers arrested him for criminal mischief and a woman accused him of domestic violence. The cases were disposed.

In 2022, Miramar police officers accused him of indecent exposure. The case was pending a probation violation.

Records show the accusations escalated in 2023 in Miramar and Miami.

Miramar police officers arrested him on three counts of exposure of sexual organs on Jan. 17, 2023. The case was disposed.

According to the Miami Police Department, Jacques sexually assaulted a woman who was taking out her garbage on the morning of Oct. 30, 2023, in Miami’s Little Haiti neighborhood.

“The suspect approached her from behind, grabbed her by her hair, and forcefully dragged her away,” Officer Kiara Delva wrote after his arrest.

Taylor Seeds told Local 10 News in 2023 that she reported Jacques had raped her and she wanted to prevent someone else from getting hurt.

Miami-Dade court records show prosecutors filed a case against Jacques for kidnapping, sexual battery, battery, and burglary on Oct. 31, 2023.

On Jan. 3, 2024, records show there was a filing for a “notice of defendant’s qualification as prison release reoffender.“ The case closed on Sept. 23.

Sofia Galiano was home alone sleeping when she received a text alerting her that an intruder had broken into her property on Jan. 24.

Galiano, 31, rushed to the front door. According to the arrest report, Ring camera video shows she confronted Jacques, who then said he was looking for something.

“It’s an invasion of privacy,” Galiano said.

On Feb. 9, Galiano received a second alert. According to the arrest report, she said she was home alone when she saw him looking through her kitchen and bedroom windows.

With the help of Galiano’s surveillance videos, detectives identified the intruder as Jacques and found the hoodie and ski mask that he was wearing on video.

“It’s an invasion of privacy,” Galiano said.

Jacques is facing charges of stalking and burglary of an occupied dwelling. Records show he is not a convicted felon or a registered sex offender in Florida.

Local 10 News has requested the close-out memo in the 2023 sexual battery case.
