MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A man who lives in southwest Miami-Dade’s rural Redland area is facing 40 felony charges after authorities say he was distributing child sexual abuse videos online — and had a series of bestiality videos as well.
Miami-Dade police said they began looking into Miguel Gabriel Gonzalez, 39, in August 2023 after the Broward Sheriff’s Office forwarded a tip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children that he was uploading illicit content online. Police arrested him on Tuesday.

In an arrest report, authorities described in graphic and disturbing detail a series of videos involving child sexual abuse that they said Gonzalez either possessed or distributed. The victims, police said, were girls and boys as young as 4, being abused by both men and women.
Police said they also found a series of bestiality videos in his possession, including a video of a woman performing a sex act with a snake, along with other clips featuring dogs and horses.
Authorities said Gonzalez, had “numerous” additional photos and videos he was not being charged for as of Wednesday and “refused to speak to detectives.”
As of Wednesday afternoon, he was being held in the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on a $117,500 bond.
