POMPANO BEACH, Fla. ā A 2-year-old girl has died after being pulled from a pool at a home in Pompano Beach on Thursday, authorities confirmed.
The Broward Sheriffās Office publicly identified her Friday as Sinai Cabrera.

According to BSO, deputies and Pompano Beach Fire Rescue responded to the 1600 block of Northeast First Avenue shortly after noon after receiving a call about a possible drowning.
āPlease, the baby fell in the pool -- we found her,ā a loved one is heard telling a 911 dispatcher in audio obtained Friday by Local 10 News.
āHow long was she in the pool?ā the dispatcher asked.
āWe donāt know,ā the caller said.
Authorities said the toddler was pulled out of the water by family members.
āDeputies learned the victimās mother had found the child unresponsive in the pool,ā BSO spokeswoman Miranda Grossman said in a news release. āFamily members pulled the victim from the pool and immediately began CPR until deputies took over.ā
Miranda said paramedics then transported Sinai to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
BSOās Homicide and Crime Scene units are now investigating the circumstances surrounding the drowning. Foul play is not suspected.
