MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Miami-Dade police assisted the FBI in a raid Tuesday morning at a home in southwest Miami-Dade, authorities confirmed.
Investigators could be seen walking in and around the property off Southwest 124th Avenue and 248th Street.
The home is located near two schools, Coconut Palm K-8 Academy and Somerset Academy Charter High School.
Multiple vehicles were seen parked inside the gate of the home, some of which were seen being towed out to the street.
The raid led to heavy traffic in the area during the morning commute.
A spokesman for the FBI would only confirm to Local 10 News that the agency was “conducting court authorized activity in the vicinity of 124 Ave.”
No other details about the raid were immediately released.
