DAVIE, Fla. – Police are investigating after they said a driver crashed into the garage of a home in Davie on Thursday.
It happened shortly before noon near the 1500 block of Southwest 99th Terrace, just off Nob Hill Road near Interstate 95.
The driver, who police believe “may have suffered from a medical condition,” lost control of the vehicle and veered off the road, slamming into the garage door of the home.
Police said the driver, whose identity has not been disclosed, was treated at the scene for minor injuries by Davie Fire Rescue.
They said there were no other occupants in the vehicle, and no one was home at the time of the crash.
No other details about the crash have been released at this time.
