HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – Police officers responded to a death investigation in Hollywood after they said a burned body was found in an alley.
Detectives and fire investigators were in and out of the alley early Monday morning, talking with neighbors to see if they witnessed anything.
Local 10 News cameras captured crime scene techs taking photos of a body on the ground covered by a tarp.
K-9s were also on the scene near the area of North Dixie Highway and Fillmore Street.
Hollywood police and a state investigator were also on the scene.
Several side streets were blocked during the police investigation.
There were no details revealed about what may have led to the death and police have not disclosed any information on the victim’s age, gender or identity at this time.
