MIAMI – A 30-year-old woman was arrested Tuesday after Miami police said she carjacked a man who she went to the beach with.
According to her arrest report, the incident occurred Sunday afternoon in the 1200 block of Northwest First Place.

Miami police said the victim and suspect, Yeneisi Rocamora, met the previous day in the city’s Allapattah neighborhood and agreed to go to the beach Sunday.
Police said Rocamora convinced the man to pick up a couple on their way to the beach.
After going to the beach, the victim allowed Rocamora to drive his car to Northwest First Place to purchase drugs, authorities said.
But police said the two got into an argument over Rocamora driving the man’s car, at which time he tried to reenter his vehicle, but the other man who was in the car snatched the key fob from the victim and Rocamora took off in the car, leaving the victim behind.
According to the arrest report, the vehicle’s GPS was tracked to the area of 5841 W. Flagler St. where surveillance video showed the victim’s car in the parking lot.
Police said the video shows Rocamora getting out of the car with the other woman who was in the vehicle. The car was then seen leaving the parking with a man behind the wheel, authorities said.
According to the report, Rocamora was located Tuesday near a shopping plaza on Flagler Street.
Police confirmed that she gave a statement to detectives, however that statement was redacted from the publicly released report.
According to the report, the victim identified Rocamora in a photo lineup.
She was arrested on a robbery/carjacking charge.
As of Wednesday afternoon, Rocamora was being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center without bond.
