Burglars burst through walls of Hialeah business twice to steal cash

HIALEAH, Fla. – Determined burglars repeatedly targeted a Hialeah business until they got what they wanted; the thieves smashed right through a wall.

When they failed to get all the cash they came for, they returned a second time.

The burglaries happened on Jan. 4 and 14 at InterAmerican Window Tinting, located at 3807 NW 36th St. near the Miami International Airport.

The first time, they tried and failed to get into an ATM.

“The first time they can’t get into the ATM and the second time they (brought) new tools to get into the ATM,” owner Jason Gil said.

The crooks got $5,000 the first time and hit the jackpot the second time, coming away with $9,000.

The thieves got away with expensive car accessories as well.

They were ready to steal. The crooks were equipped with tools and flashlights and left behind a trail of shattered glass and bits of broken wall.

Anyone who recognizes the suspects is asked to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.
