SUNNY ISLES BEACH, Fla. – Chilling video shows what police say is an accused child predator targeting a 6-year-old girl while she was on a family vacation.
It happened over Thanksgiving week at the Marco Polo Beach Resort, located at 19201 Collins Ave. in Sunny Isles Beach.
In the video, the blurred out image of a child can be seen. She is sitting on a couch next to a man she only knew as “Disney World guy.”
“Disney World guy,” police said, is 42-year-old Alejandro Londono.
Police said they were releasing the video because it is apparent that in a short time, he groomed the child. They said it led to him exposing himself near a vending machine on the resort’s third floor.
In one incident described in his arrest report, police said Londono offered the girl $20.
“The victim stated that (Londono) went up the stairs and she followed him and asked him for the (money),” the report states. “The victim said (Londono) crouched down, opened his zipper and exposed his penis to her. (He) then asked to see her panties and she replied ‘No, that’s inappropriate.’”
Authorities received word of the incidents on Dec. 4 and they scoured hours of video until they found images of the child and suspect together.
Investigators ultimately found five different dates when the suspect interacted with the child during Thanksgiving week.
In another video, Londono, who is listed in his arrest report as homeless, is seen showing the girl images on his phone.
He took advantage, police said, of an open area where a family was eating to gain the trust of the child, using Disney World as an “in.”
Police are asking anyone who thinks their children interacted with Londono to reach out to them.
Londono was arrested Dec. 21 on three counts of lewd and lascivious conduct and lewd and lascivious exhibition.
According to jail records, the Colombian national remained behind bars Thursday on an immigration hold.
