CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – A fatal crash involving a Cadillac and a tractor-trailer Tuesday closed the southbound lanes of the Sawgrass Expressway in Coral Springs.
The crash closed all southbound lanes between Atlantic Boulevard and Commercial Boulevard.

All southbound traffic was being diverted at Atlantic Boulevard.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Betty Jane Kukla, 86, was killed in the crash.
A view from Sky 10 showed that the roof of the Cadillac had been torn off. A yellow tarp was covering the passenger seat.
The driver of the Cadillac, Carl Kukla, 88, was injured in the crash and the driver of the other vehicle wasn't hurt.
The tractor-trailer appeared to belong to the Packaging Corporation of America.
Carl Kukla was heading soutbound on the Sawgrass Expressway in the right lane when the tractor-trailer, driven by Alberto Meana, 55, stopped in the west shoulder, FHP said.
That's when Carl Kukla veered off the roadway for an undetermined reason and struck the left rear of the truck, FHP reports.
Coral Springs firefighters said Carl Kukla was taken to a hospital in serious condition.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
