POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – Three men were killed after the car they were driving plunged into a Pompano Beach lake. It happened just before 5 a.m. Saturday on Andrews Avenue off Sample Road.
Police said a white sedan hit a guard rail and went into a lake. Rescue crews were called in and divers pulled three men from the water. All three were rushed to North Broward Hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
Tommy Neloms, 24, Victor Durham, 29, and Gregory Holloway, 19, were all killed.
All three men are from Pompano Beach.
The medical examiner will perform an autopsy on all three men.
Local 10's Ben Kennedy spoke with one of the men's mother who was at the hospital.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
