DAVIE, Fla. – The Miami Dolphins quest for running back depth has reportedly led them to Arian Foster.

In a Tweet Monday morning, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that the former Texans All-Pro will visit with the Dolphins on Tuesday.

The move comes after Miami's repeated attempts to find an additional running back to add to the roster have come up empty.

Miami's offer sheet to C.J. Anderson was matched by Denver, and Chris Johnson chose to spurn the Dolphins and return to Arizona.

Foster has been recovering from a ruptured Achilles he suffered during the Texans loss to the Dolphins in October.

A four-time Pro Bowl running back, Foster will be 30 at the start of the next NFL season, but hopes to continue his career.

After Lamar Miller bolted in free agency, the Dolphins are looking for someone to pair with second-year running back Jay Ajayi in their backfield.
