"I'm familiar with the stadium, " Rick Brass said. "It's come a long way, and we're very proud of it."
And so is the team.
The total cost was around $500 million.
Thursday was the first game debut as the Dolphins take on the Tennessee Titans in a preseason game.
After debuting new seating and box seats last year, this season fans can enjoy giant HD screens.
"It's amazing, first of all, it's beautiful, second of all those HD TVs are awesome," Olga Pazos said.
"You can see everything from anywhere in the stadium."
The video walls were almost as appreciated by fans as the massive stadium canopy crews worked months to put up.
"After so many years of sitting in the hot sun, particularly those 1 o'clock games in September when you come out sunburned, so I'm really looking forward to the canopy," Don Kearns said.
It's an awesome new hope for a team looking to impress fans.
"Hopefully the team will play as well as the stadium looks," Kearns said.
