MIAMI – A rainy morning did not disrupt England's soccer team from training in the field for the World Cup 2014 at Barry University in Miami Shores Monday afternoon, and the team was seen in good spirits during breakfast in Miami's Brickell Key.

The 30 players, of the team known as the Three Lions, are set to have two training warm-up games in Miami at Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens. Seven players will watch, as 23 play against Ecuador at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday and against Honduras at 4:45 p.m.,Saturday.
"Our plan really on Wednesday is basically to start the people who didn't start on Friday" when the team played against Peru at London's Wembley Stadium, England's coach Roy Hodson, 66, said.
England -- which is in the World Cup's Group D -- will leave Miami for Rio de Janeiro June 8. They depart Rio for Manaus June 12, where they will compete in their first World Cup game June 14 against Italy. Their game against Uruguay is June 19, and against Costa Rica June 24.
Before their flight to Miami at London Luton Airport, the players had a little laugh when police escorted British comedian Lee Nelson, who was in character as Jason Bent, a professional soccer player.
After nine hours, the team arrived at Fort Lauderdale airport Sunday night. A bus took the players to the Mandarin Oriental in Miami's Brickell Key. They had taken off their suits, and were wearing more comfortable clothes.
England defender Gary Cahill posted a video on YouTube that gave fans a beautiful night time view of Brickell, Miami's financial district.
