CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Police are investigating after a woman was found shot to death early Tuesday morning at her Coral Springs home.
Coral Springs police were called to a possible shooting at a home in the 4700 block of Northwest 87th Lane about 4 a.m.

When police arrived, they found the woman suffering from gunshot wounds. She was taken to Broward Health North, where she was pronounced dead.
Police said there is no active search for a shooter or threat to the community, but they are investigating.
The woman's identity hasn't been released pending notification of next of kin.
