QUEBEC, Canada – A boatload of tourists got a little too close to nature during a whale-watching cruise in Canada.
Video posted to YouTube shows a placid scene on the St. Lawrence River near Quebec over the weekend when a giant finback whale appeared just off the side of the boat.

The whale, which, according to RT.com, measured about 59 feet long, swam right up to the inflatable boat and then glided right underneath.
Tourists on board could be heard gasping on the video as the giant whale just missed hitting the boat.
The video was captured and posted by Eric Mouellic.
