PARIS – Employees made a grisly discovery inside the haunted mansion attraction at Disneyland Paris over the weekend.

A park employee was found dead in Phantom Manor, a ride similar to the Haunted Mansion at Walt Disney World in Orlando.

While no official cause of death has been made, the Daily Mail says an initial investigation found that the unnamed worker is thought to have been electrocuted while working on the attraction.

The body of the 45-year-old employee was discovered by colleagues inside the ride on Saturday morning.  The man was reportedly working on lighting in the backstage area of the attraction.

Much like its counterparts in the United States, Phantom Manor is described as a guided tour of a spooky home where 999 happy haunts greet visitors.

Phantom Manor remains closed as the investigation continues.

The BBC reports that a Disneyland Paris employee was killed at the park in 2010 when he became trapped under a boat in the It's a Small World attraction.
