MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – North Dade Middle School, 1840 NW 157th Street, in Miami Gardens, was among the Miami-Dade public schools with the most safety incidents reported to the Florida Department of Education during two consecutive school years.
During the 2012-2013 school year, the school was among the top 10 schools in South Florida on reports of fighting.

During the 2013-2014 school year, the school was among the worst 10 schools in Miami-Dade on sex offenses and fighting reports. It was the third in the state with the highest fighting reports. And about 78 percent of the school's reports were on fighting.
According to Miami-Dade there were 710 students enrolled in the school.
