Right main gear collapsed while landing, FAA says

A small plane's landing gear collapsed while it was landing at North Perry Airport.

PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. – A small plane had problems with its landing gear when it landed Tuesday at North Perry Airport in Pembroke Pines.

Sky 10 was above the scene at 4:30 p.m. as the plane was parked on its side.

A Federal Aviation Administration representative said the Piper PA 34's right main gear collapsed while landing on the runway at 4:17 p.m.

The FAA is investigating the incident.

No injuries were reported.
